April Devotional
Death could not hold Jesus! He died on the cross to wash the sins of man as white as new driven snow! He was placed in the tomb to finalize the brutal execution that He suffered on that cross! The people thought it was over! How wrong they were! How wrong so many are today! The tomb was the third part of Jesus being our savior. Part 1 was his birth from a virgin Mother! Part 2 was the death on the cross! Part 3 was Jesus miraculous defeat of death! The tomb was found empty! On the third day Jesus had arose and left the tomb, His burial garments still on the slab of stone in the form of His body!Jesus victory over death is the same victory that He offers us! We can have victory over death because the Blood of Jesus washes away our sins! There can be no sin in heaven, so to enter into the Kingdom of God one must be sin free! Knowing we could not be sin free on our own, God sacrificed His own Son that we might have TOTAL forgiveness for our sins, thus we have a way to heaven!
John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have life everlasting!
To be forgiven of your sins simply pray that Jesus will come into your heart, submit your life to Him! Get in a good Bible based church and study His Word! The only way to avoid an eternal damnation in hell is through Jesus Christ!
